I nearly ripped my hair out today. I decided I would take Riley's two year pictures today in preparation for her birthday this weekend. I set up a nice area in her bedroom with my camera on it's pod, did Riley's hair nice, and put on clean clothes. I sat her down in position and immediately she threw a fit so I reset up everything in the living room on the couch and tried again, with the same response. She then decided to boycott the whole picture taking situation by rubbing her nice hair all over the couch and tearing everything up. I of course freaked out and began crying in frustration. After a brief episode I pulled it together. I reset everything up for a third time on the bean bag chair. This time she refused to even get near the thing. Now at my wits end I put in Sleeping Beauty and let her get hipnotized. When she wasn't paying attention I would guide her over to the chair. This took several failed attempts before she finally sat down. Luckily it was perfect timing because her favorite part of the movie was on. (The part were the fairies fight over the dress color). She started laughing so I started clicking I repeated the scene several times. Finally I ended up with some good ones, (I liked these the best) but I think I'm a little thinner on top for it. I knew this would be hard because she has been going through an antipicture phase, but after that I just don't know if it is worth it.
