Riley is now officially 2 years old, although she has been acting two for awhile now. We did a sesame street theme for her birthday this year. We had nachos for dinner, and cake and ice cream with friends. She enjoyed the Oscar the grouch cake I made, but she wasn't quite sure of the candle on top idea. She payed more attention to sampling the frosting then blowing out the candle, so dad did it for her. I was excited for the gifts because I made her a fun quilt, and restored an old Ernie puppet of Peter's for her. I hope she gets a lot of use out of them. There really is nothing better then having an old ratty toy or blanket when your older, and being able to remember all the fun times from your childhood.
