Since Riley's Birthday gift, "Chewy," met an unfortunate demise, Santa was kind enough to bring her a new puppy. His name is Griff, and we call him Mr. Griffster. We decided to go with a new breed of dog this time. That way Riley wouldn't be confused if she saw Chewy "resurrected," so to speak. This breed (Shar Pei) is much more parent friendly. He doesn't shed, is fairly quiet, and already house broke. Riley loves Griff, but he's not quite as fun for her as Chewy was. He is sort of lazy, and way too big for her to pack around. I just hope he lasts longer then a month this time!!! I've got my fingers crossed!!!
