Summer @ Last

By Peter and Myla
I was beginning to think we were doomed to have the snow follow us where ever we went, but Friday the Thirteenth broke the cold weather curse. It was the first day this year that really screamed summer, and ever since we've been graced with sunshine. I think my favorite thing about summer are the colors. Here are some fun flower pictures. I especially like the rose because it's my graduation rose.

Explanation....... In Peter's family they have a graduation tradition in which you get to pick a rose for the rose garden every time you graduate with a degree. I think it's a fun tradition and gives everyone a little incentive. My rose is called JOSEPH'S COAT and I was excited to see it bloom because it can be a variety of reds and yellows. I was pleasantly surprised to see it orange because I was hoping for that so that it would match my orange and black ISU tassel.
